Our Services

The College of Design provides access to a full array of computing applications through its instructional and research laboratories located in Lawrence Hall, Pacific Hall, Hendricks Hall, and the North-site complex. Technology Services staff maintain these resources as well as shared large-scale color plotters and high-resolution printers. Technical support is available through College of Design Technology Services, Information Services, and informal peer consulting.

Help Desk

Technology Services operates a Help Desk for drop-in support. Additional support is available by appointment.

Please be prepared to provide the following information to our Help Desk Technicians:

  • Your Name
  • Department
  • UO Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • A detailed description of the request or problem
  • Your expected time frame

In some circumstances, it may be necessary for our Help Desk Technicians to access your computer or email account to troubleshoot problems or migrate data. In these situations, we may ask for your password credentials.  When work is completed, we suggest you create a new password.
