The Josephine Lumm Matsler ’41, Endowed Scholarship

William Riley “Tex” Matsler, BLArch ’46, MS ’62 (health, physical ed., and recreation), established this scholarship in 1990 to honor his wife Josephine Lumm Matsler, BLArch ’41 (1915–1985). This scholarship supports Oregon-born students in the Department of Landscape Architecture who are in their third or fourth year. When all other criteria for the award are equal, preference will be given to supporting women in the field.
