Why I Came to the UO and How I Chose My Major
I chose UO because of the unique history it has tied to the sportswear industry, and the connections and knowledge that I expected to gain from attending here.

I chose my degree based on a specific search for master’s programs related to the sports product design field.

Unique Qualities I Bring to My Studies
Before UO I spent many years freelancing, helping artists and small business build their brands, as well as starting two of my own apparel brands.

My Influential Professors
Dr. Brett Kirby was my professor of physiology in the first year of the program. In addition to being great at simplifying complex topics, he is also very inspirational and helps students believe in themselves and their work.

My Extracurricular Activities
I became involved in the Design Student Union (DSU) because it allowed me to meet with students from other programs, allowing me to learn about various disciplines as much as possible. It also allowed me to stay on top of the various events happening around the college.

My Greatest Learning Experience at UO
The greatest learning experience has simply been the entire process leading up to my capstone project thus far. All the research, ideation, prototyping and testing has transformed the way that I think about design and problem solve.

After Graduation
My goal after graduation is to design and manufacture meaningful products that help improve the quality of life for athletes around the world. As an entrepreneur, my hope is that I will be able to accomplish this with my own business.
