Jan Zach Memorial Graduate Award

Bill Mueller, BFA ’74, and his wife, Mardi Chase, BA ’74 (music), established this scholarship in 1993 to honor Jan Zach (1914 – 1986), a well-like and influential faculty member in the UO Department of Art from 1958 – 1986. This award supports graduating students with either a BFA or MFA in sculpture to continue advanced work, and to encourage their pursuit of international experience and development.
