The DeNorval Unthank Jr. Memorial Scholarship in Architecture

Alumni, colleagues, and friends established this scholarship in 2004 to honor DeNorval Unthank, Jr., FAIA, BArch ’52, who was the first African American student to receive a BArch at UO. This scholarship supports undergraduate students who have completed their first year as enrolled majors in the Department of Architecture.
