Effie Lu Fairchild Scholarship

Alumni, colleagues, and friends established this scholarship in 1987 to honor Dr. Effie Lu Farichild, DEd ’74 (1933–1989), who taught at UO in the Department of Leisure Studies and Services for over ten years. This scholarship supports students in arts management who are pursuing leadership positions in the field of youth recreation or youth arts education.
