The Walter Gordon Memorial Student Scholarship in Architecture

Walter Gordon, FAIA and Margaret Murray Gordon established this scholarship through an estate bequest in 2003, which was thereafter contributed to by many colleagues, friends and alumni to honor Walter Gordon who was dean of the College of Design (known then as the School of Architecture and Allied Arts) from 1958 to 1962. This scholarship supports third-, fourth-, or fifth-year undergraduate students who demonstrate both financial need and design excellence in the Department of Architecture. The Gordon scholarship may also be used to support formalized exchange and summer study programs abroad and in the U.S.
