My name is gabriel Temme. I’m head of Puppets for a stop motion feature film “Wendell and Wild”.
I’m reaching out to you to explore the possibility of hiring a student or alum for an entry level position on our film.
We are located in SW Portland near Milwaukie.
We have a rapid prototype and digital asset department that uses three kinds of 3D printers. The department creates components for both on and off screen assets.
Fabricator – Entry Level : The week of August 17th, through February.
Duties:
1. Basic model making and painting.
2. Applies various forms of paints, primer and adhesives to assets.
3. track inventory make orders to keep supplies readily available.
4. Documents assembly process.
5. Clean, sand and adhere magnets to 3D printed parts.
6. Communicates improvements in functionality of puppets, and replacement animations to the 3d modelers.
7. Additional duties as assigned. This position will include part testing and production support.
