Call for Submissions

We accept poetry, fiction, nonfiction, art, and comics by anyone enrolled as an undergraduate in the U.S. during the 2019-20 academic year. (December grads are still eligible.) We award $100 prizes to the top submission in each genre. Submission is free and easy at:

Deadline: February 20.

Selection is competitive, so please encourage students to send their most polished work.¬†Last year Furrow¬†featured work from students at 41 schools, selected from over 1,000 submissions. We’re proud to say we won the 2019AWP¬†Program Directors’ Prize for Best Undergraduate Literary Journal (Content).
