2020 internships with the UO Center for Art Research
The Center for Art Research is looking for interns for the 2020 winter and spring terms.
ART 404/ART 614- Center for Art Research internship

Description – This course offers advanced students professional experience that enhance the student’s academic training and is designed to allow students to receive upper-division ART credits for internship experiences working with the Center for Art Research on a variety of projects and events.
Requirements – During the term, interns will meet for 30 mins weekly and are expected to work an additional 2.5 hours per week per unit of credit. Tasks may include updating the Center website through the UO Blogs, print and digital design work, research and maintaining contact lists, event photography and set-up, writing, reports, and general admin support.
Preferred skills
Attention to detail and time management
Knowledge of Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Ability to travel between UO campus and the 510 Oak Building
Capable of moving chairs, folding tables, ladders, etc.
Ability to use power tools not necessary, but a plus
Grading
Offered with “pass/no pass” option only. A passing grade (P) signifies satisfactory completion of all aspects of the internship by the end of the term. Unsatisfactory work on significant aspects of the internship will result in a grade of NP. Given the nature of this internship course, an incomplete grade (I) is rarely appropriate.
