Fiesta Cultural Call for Submissions
Submit your fall event, exhibit or program to be featured in Fiesta Cultural promotions
Lane Arts Council is seeking events, exhibitions, and programs happening in Lane County September through December 2019 to be included in the fifth annual Fiesta Cultural! Submissions due by July 1st, 2019.
Fiesta Cultural is Lane County’s largest annual celebration of Latinx arts and culture, highlighting dozens of events happening in the fall of each year. Fiesta Cultural creates opportunities for inclusion through the arts, and engages the community in welcoming multicultural programming that highlights the rich diversity of Latinx arts, culture, and heritage in Lane County. The Fiesta Cultural kickoff will be September 6th in downtown Eugene, with submitted events highlighted throughout the fall.
Submitted events, exhibitions, projects, or programs will be featured as part of Fiesta Cultural promotions, including in the printed handbill, monthly poster, Lane Arts Council’s website, social media, and more.
Some examples of Fiesta Cultural events have included exhibitions, theatre, music and dance performances, classes and workshops, youth activities, presentations, and cultural celebrations such as Día de los Muertos, Posada Navideña, and the Hispanic Heritage Celebration. Although not required, many events are free and fun for the whole family.
