Dear Beloved Art Community,
I’m so excited to launch the start of the Nationwide Book Cover Competition for my book, Hidden Contempt! I have chosen to do this competition as a way to give aspiring artists a portfolio building opportunity that will allow artists a chance to be handsomely rewarded for the valuable contribution they will bring to my book and for artists to gain exposure to their amazing talents. Being an award recipient at a competition while I was in school, I appreciate the valuable experience that comes from these kinds of competitions to aid students in building a resume that they can confidently enter the job market with. Though the prize money exceeds the cost of hiring a book cover artist, I want to provide this exciting opportunity for artists to create and showcase their creative abilities while getting a wide variety of talent and ideas.
