Call for Entries: Student Art Exhibit in Knight Library

Show Up, Stand Out, Empower!”  is an upcoming art exhibit sponsored by UO Libraries and the Division of Equity and Inclusion. The exhibit is motivated by reactions against historic murals in Knight Library which reveal racist and misogynist biases common at that time.  We seek to exhibit art that reflects the kind of UO we aspire to have.   We invite participants to contribute works of art that reflect on issues of identity, gender and race equality, age, sexual orientation, ability, social justice, and privilege. All UO students are eligible to enter.

Many kinds of media are permitted for entry.

Selected entries will be on exhibit in the fall and several will receive awards.

The deadline for online submissions is August 10, 2018.
