Mayor’s Art Show
I am writing on behalf of the City of Eugene regarding the upcoming Mayor’s Art Show. We are delighted to bring back this event. The juried exhibition will take place July 27, 2018 through August 25, 2018. It will be held in the Maurie Jacobs Community Room at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. We invite all established, emerging, and student artists who live and work in Eugene to submit work for the exhibition.
Our goal is to cultivate diversity, equity, and access to the visual arts. We could use your assistance in extending our reach and ask that you share this Call to Artists with your community.

Artists will need a profile on CaFE to apply to the call. CaFe is an online application and jurying system used by organizations and galleries for national and international calls for entry for public art projects, artist fellowships, juried visual art competitions and exhibitions. Applicants have access to hundreds of call for entry opportunities. It allows artists to easily and efficiently manage their submissions and applications. Registration is FREE and makes it easy to apply to entries.
Information for artists-
First time users will need to register first and sign-up as a new user.
Existing users may proceed to log-in and apply to a call for entry.
Once you log in, you need to upload your image work samples to the MY PORTFOLIO page. Be sure to have upload-ready JPG files.
After you have uploaded all of your image work samples, go to APPLY TO CALLS page and search for the call for entry, or to see a list of all calls you can apply to. When you find the listing, select “Apply to this Call.” From there, you will be directed to the application where you will complete the required questions and choose your image work samples.
When finished, click Save Application to save your work and continue to CHECKOUT. It is Important that you save your application even if you‘re entry is incomplete. You can come back to it later and complete the submission anytime prior to a deadline.
The final step is to Checkout the application. You will receive a confirmation receipt in your email confirming your application was paid for and submitted.
