Calling All Artists- UpStream Art

The City of Springfield is seeking local artists to paint up to ten mural spaces in the downtown area to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our rivers, stream habitat, and aquatic wildlife. This year’s theme is “It’s All Connected.” Artists selected to participate in UpStream Art will be provided with paints and a designated mural space on the ground. They’ll also be compensated for their art! Artists must be available to start painting on the afternoon of Friday, August 24 and complete their artwork on August 25, 2018. Deadline to apply is 5 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2018.
