The Umpqua Valley Arts Association (UVAA) invites artists who are working in the Pacific Northwest (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, British Columbia, Western Montana, and Western Wyoming) to submit artworks to our annual Artworks Northwest Juried Show. Open Media – Open themed. Cash awards: $1000 1st Place, $500 2nd Place, $300 3rd Place, The J. Lynn Peterson – Hundred Valleys Award – $200.
This year’s juror is Andries Fourie. Andries Fourie is a South African-born curator, artist and teacher. He has a Masters in Art from California State University, Sacramento, and a Masters of Fine Art from The University of California, Davis. Fourie is the curator for the High Dessert Museum in Bend, Oregon.
