Admin Coordinator Job Description

Overview

Lane Arts Council cultivates strong and creative arts communities throughout Lane County. The Administrative Coordinator supports Lane Arts Council’s team in a variety of administrative tasks.

Hours: 16 hours/week

Compensation: $12.50/hr.

Reports to: Program and Communications Manager

Duties

General Admin

  • Maintain regular office hours
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Answer phones and manage Lane Arts Council emails and mail
  • Develop and maintain templates and organizational administrative systems
  • Maintain office accounts, services, and tech, including equipment and software; troubleshoot technical difficulties
  • Maintain events/activities calendar
  • Purchase office supplies and equipment
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming office environment

Administrative Development Support

  • Oversee donor database including processing incoming donations and supporting donor stewardship
  • Maintain updated information in constituency database and email list
  • Assist with coordination of mailings; includes communicating with printing and mailing services, creating mailing lists, and organizing volunteers

Administrative Program Support

  • Provide administrative support for ArtCore program, institutes, and conference
  • Provide logistical scheduling support for artist residency program; work directly with Lane Arts Council Arts Education Program Coordinator to schedule artist residencies with Lane County schools

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Office experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite & WordPress
  • Familiarity with Lane County arts community
  • Experience supervising volunteers
