I am looking for a student to work with me in creating colorable images for a coloring book for Seniors using mythic images and symbols.  We will be using images from my iPhone, digital camera, and film photographs.  I do not know if PhotoShop would be the best program, whether it has a “rotoscope-like” capability, so that only the outline and major details remain for coloring.  Excessive detail will be eliminated for enhancing the coloring experience.  Each of the 15 images (Honeybee, Cosmic Egg, Moon, Threshold, Flood, Garden, Labyrinth, Butterfly etc.) has been given a two-page mythic background text.  My doctorate is in Mythology, with a Depth Psychology Emphasis (and the coloring book has a psychological theme of self-discovery) and I also have a Masters in Fine Arts, Cinematic Arts Production (USC), and so the images are dramatic and relevant.

I am done with most of the writing and am ready to start now in having the images readied for the coloring book.  I have quite a number of local senior communities ready to have me host senior’s activities, as I test the writing and mythic art.

Compensation will be based on experience, and after we have talked.
