Job Title: Graphic Design Intern

Sports Consulting Northwest is seeking a Graphic Design Intern for the upcoming school year.  The main scope of the job will be designing original content for #SCNW and our Coaches to use on their various Social Media platforms.

Location:
This is a virtual internship. You will work remotely and anywhere as long as you have reliable internet connection and time to complete projects to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

    • Help our business grow by creating graphics for strategic communications and designing valuable resources for our customers and brand.
    • Use your creativity and graphic design skills to create engaging visuals designed to generate leads and drive user engagement on our website and social media platforms.
    • Be an important part of our team that is passionate about representation.
    • Build and develop our brand by contributing ideas and material that will be featured on all of our platforms!

Ideal Candidate:
This is a position that will be filled by someone with the technology and skill to step right in and contribute great original graphics.

Skills and abilities:

  • Photoshop experience is a must!
  • Creative visualizer who thrives on communicating and telling stories with visual content
  • Ability to synthesize information and make images that accurately portray data and written text
  • Demonstrated proficiency in tools such as Canvas, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Must have starting portfolio – you will build great new pieces to add!
  • Attention to detail while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, but take direction well
  • Organized, detail-oriented, dependable
  • Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities

Equipment:
You will need reliable access to an Internet connection, your own computer, and phone. You will also require access to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Timeline/Time Commitment:
#SCNW is recruiting for applicants who can start immediately. We require our interns to commit to approximately 10 hours a week for the next calendar year; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you!

Salary:
This is an unpaid internship, but we will provide you with opportunities to grow professionally and gain valuable industry experience.
