2017 UO Sustainability Awards
We are seeking nominations and self-nominations for the following Sustainability awards. The deadline to submit is Monday, April 10th:
Excellence In Teaching Award: Open to nontenure- and tenure-track faculty. Candidates will have developed teaching and curriculum that reinforce and advance principles of sustainability through course design and instruction.
Research Innovation Award: Open to a UO project whose innovations developed from UO research and are now provided as products or services that improve sustainability.
Student Leadership In Sustainability Award: Given to a current undergraduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA who has made a significant contribution on campus for sustainability by implementing projects, generating awareness or creating new initiatives through extracurricular involvement.
Operations Award: Recognizes an outstanding individual or team whose contributions have improved sustainability performance in the day-to-day operations of the UO.
Town and Gown Sustainability Award: Presented to campus individuals or groups for projects that promote, educate or enhance a more sustainable community.
