Call For Artists!

The Humboldt Arts Council presents The 15th Annual Northwest Eye Photography Exhibition, a competition open to all photographers residing in the Pacific Northwest: Northern California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Yukon Territory, and Alaska.

There are no thematic limitations and all photography media are accepted:

– black and white

– color

– Polaroid

– digital prints

– non-silver process prints

All work must be securely mounted on a stable 16” x 20” white mat. Framed prints will not be accepted. Diptychs, triptychs, or multiples must be printed on one sheet of paper to be considered a single entry.

 Deadline: April 6, 2016

 If you cannot drop off your work in person at the Morris Graves Museum of Art in Eureka, CA, please mail it by April 6th to this address along with prepaid return shipping materials (FedEx preferred) with insurance included in shipping:

Accepted entries will be posted on April 8th. If your work is not accepted, you can pick it up in person at the museum or we will ship it back if paid return shipping has been provided. Work without a prepaid return shipping label will not be returned.

Exhibition dates: April 9 – May 29, 2016

Awards: 

Awards will be given out at 5:30 on May 7th before the exhibition opening reception.

Grand Prize $1000

5 Best-Of-Show Awards for $250 each

Entry fee: $15 for each photo; maximum of 3 entries per person. Checks can be made payable to The Humboldt Arts Council.

Entry forms: Each entry must be submitted with a fully completed registration label, which can be found at http://humboldtarts.org/Exhibitions/juried%20shows.htm.
