Anna Lepska, Digital Scholarship Specialist GE

In October, we welcomed a new team member to the Caribbean Women Healers project. Meet Anna Lepska, UO Libraries Digital Scholarship Specialist Graduate Employee.

Anna is a graduate student from the School of Planning, Public Policy, and Management studying non-profit management. Anna comes to our digital project with lots of experience working with non-government organizations that focus on youth empowerment and human rights education from Ukraine. Her experience working with people from multiple countries from diverse backgrounds, strong knowledge of social science methodologies, advanced digital information communication technologies, and project management skills brings lots to the project as we amp up the digital construction phase of the Caribbean Women Healers project. Her specific digital project role includes leading technical processing and quality assurance of healer interviews, spearheading digital technology platform workshop instruction, collaborating with librarians, archivists, and technologies on research data management for website development and archiving, support for website usability testing, project management, and project outreach and marketing.

We’re thrilled to have her experience constructing projects around digital storytelling and media and working with project team members to build digital tools to create positive learning experiences. In addition to working on the Caribbean Women Healers project, Anna is also providing lots of administrative support for the newly opened UO Libraries Digital Research, Education, and Media (DREAM) Lab where she’s aiding in the development and streamlining of space operations management.
