Sarah Schneider is a student at University of Oregon majoring early childhood education. She also works at the Catholic campus ministry as a peer minister. Her life is focused on becoming teacher, which has been her dream goal, but her life itself is already a dream life.

 

Question1: What made you to choose the way to be a teacher?

Sarah Schneider: I always wanted to be a teacher since I was a child. It’s my dream job for me to teach young children. I did not have a second thought when I choose major as Early Childhood Education.

Question2: You also work in campus Catholic ministry. Does religion plays a big role in your life?

S: Yes! It is a big part of my life. I was born as raised as a catholic. In high school, where is chaos, I found hanging out at the church more peaceful. I also singing at choir from a child, religion is a definitely big part of my life.

Question 3: How do your faith and teacher come up together?

S: As a Catholic, I believe that I should help people and I think a teacher is a person who helps young children. I think it is important to all teachers be able to help their students, especially when they are very young age.

Question 4: What do you hope for your dream?

S: I hope I will be a teacher one day and be able to participate in church activities as well. Both are very important of my life. I think I am living in my “Dream life” as I am pursuing my teaching career, which is my dream.
