Q1: What are you doing these days?

Jimmy Keller: Well, so currently I am working on the project and it’s called “A Letter”. It’s from the Bible, Second Corinthians 33. Paul, who is writing the letter, says that follow our Jesus are letter of Christ. So we took that idea and we are making this album our letter. That Christ is given to us because Second Corinthians 33 says that is written on our hearts. So this is our sharing whom we known Jesus to be is our Lord savvier and everybody else. The other part of the project is that we see this album as a complete active worship to Jesus. That’s not because we are only writing songs about him and telling the stories he is giving to us, but we also supporting hope ranch, which is a place for victors for human trafficking. So we are using this album to help those who need and do justice in the world that Jesus would have to do.

Q2: I heard you are going to California soon. Why do you leave the band?

J:  So California is basically just to save up some money and allowed myself to focus on song writing and get to be a better musician like start performing and I plan to do more project just like the one I told you about.

Q3: So after the trip, will you do your music by your own? Or back to Levi’s band?

J: I’m not sure. I’m doing this current project with Joanna Dahl and Philserimo who are local Christian artists. Now this project is all with them. We all believe Jesus and we want to help others with the money we raised.  Who knows, maybe it will turn to band and we will continue making more albums.

Q4: Do you love your current job?

J: Yes, very much. It’s difficult. It’s very exciting while I’m going to do and I’m just trusting god that he is kind use it and he is provide. I mean making music today in U.S. is not a very lucrative business. We can see where he can use me, where he leads and how he provides, but it said to move on our place like this because I love the people I’m working with and this church is really been there for me a lot.
