The Creative Writing Program strives to create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive climate in our classes and in the culture of the program. Our faculty create diverse reading lists in our classes. We invite visiting readers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Most importantly, as a faculty, we seek to support students in their own literary paths by helping them identify and explore the literary traditions that inspire them.
