My colleague Pam Martin and I created a matrix summarizing all of the lawsuits invoking Ecuador’s pioneering rights of nature laws between 2008 and 2016. The matrix categorizes the cases by the legal tool applied, the pathway of influence for applying rights of nature, and the year.
