12/29/17: 10th & Mill Alley Access – Advisory

Building Occupants,

The following message from the property management company regarding alley way access:

It appears that the Fiber project has the alley way blocked today. However, Greg spoke to the foreman and they will continue to give access to anyone that needs it. You may need to be a bit patient, but when they know you need access to/from garage or alley, they will accommodate.

We were not given prior notice of this work. I will contact the project head to make request again that we are given notice in the future.

Advisory: 6/23 – 6/30: Johnson Hall Exterior Steps Restoration

The North, main entry steps of Johnson Hall will be receiving a restoration treatment beginning Friday June 23rd through June 30th. This will result in periodic closing of these areas. Weather and material cure time will play a role in the time table. If there is an extension of the time, building users will be notified.

Work will be performed by Brown Concrete.

For questions about how this may impact your area, contact Jim Cody, CPFM Zone A Maintenance Manager at 346-2302.

4/12/17: Shutdown of PLC heating systems for emergency repairs

Building Occupants,

The damaged pump which is causing a lack of heat in Prince Lucien Campbell Hall (PLC) will be repaired tomorrow, April 12th. This will require all heat in PLC to be shutoff in order to safely repair the damaged pump. Once the pump is repaired, the entire system will need to be refilled with water. The actual repair is expected to take up to four (4) hours, assuming all elements fall into place. Refilling the system will take an unknown amount of time.

Zone maintenance personnel are installing an additional fill point to expedite the process, but due to the age, size and volume of the system, we cannot calculate the exact time heat will be restored. When the system is restored, you may hear noises as trapped air works its way out of the system. If you see any water leaking, please notify customer service immediately at 346-2319.

For additional questions on how this may impact your services, please contact Jim Cody at 541-346-2302.
