12/12/22 – 12/13/22 – Living Learning Center Steam Shutdown

Building(s) or Area(s) Affected:  Living Learning Center North and South

Scope:  Due to a leaking main steam valve and drainpipe, the building heat and hot water will be shut down to replace the valve and repair the pipe.  Work will take place in room #20 and in the adjacent utility tunnel.

Services Impacted:

  • This will affect the heat and domestic hot water in both the North and South buildings.
  • Slight noise from grinding and odor from welding will occur.
