Elevator Update 6/4/20: The Onyx Bridge East elevator will continue to be shut down until tomorrow morning, Friday, June 5th, 2020, due to an unexpected delay from the contractor.
2nd UPDATE 6/4/20: Shutdown work is progressing much slower than predicted due to some unforeseen conditions. The shutdown could extend as late as 11pm tonight.
1st UPDATE 6/3/20: The Onyx East elevator will be shut down from 4:00 pm today until 5:00 pm tomorrow, 6/4/2020, due to the Klamath Hall power outage.
Begin: Thursday, June 4th, 2020 at 5:00 am
End: Thursday, June 4th, 2020 at 5:00 pm until possibly 11:00 pm
Building or Area Impacted: Klamath Hall
Scope: Existing electrical infrastructure needs connected to new electrical gear.
Services Impacted: The basement, ground floor, first floor, and second floor will be without power during this time.
Extra Notes: Temporary power can be provided to critical equipment. Please notify Denise Stewart with locations of critical equipment requiring temporary power.
Special Instructions: Please shut down all multi-function copier devices as well as any printers during scheduled power outages. The software on these machines can be negatively affected due to the power surge when power is turned back on, a power surge can corrupt the clone files in the machines, and can change preconfigured settings.
