PEACH Study

Sleeping baby girl

The Prenatal Environment and Child Health (PEACH) study is conducted by our OHSU collaborators based in Portland, Oregon and designed to learn more about how prenatal factors such as nutrition influence infant and toddler postnatal behavior. Participants enter the study during their second trimester of pregnancy and continue in the study, until their children are 4 years old. During the postnatal sessions, parents and their babies engage in a number of interactions. The interactions are recorded and our University of Oregon team is trained to review the interactions and code the behavior of the infants with their caregivers.

If you or someone you know is giving birth in Portland and is interested in participating in the PEACH study, they can learn more here.
