The S3C Lab will be hosting a one-day agent-based modeling workshop at the University of Oregon on Wednesday, November 19th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The workshop will be led by scientists from Argonne National Laboratory’s Center for Complex Adaptive Agent Systems Simulation, who developed Repast, an agent-based modeling and simulation platform. The workshop will introduce participants to modeling complex systems with Repast Suite and how to analyze results stemming from complex systems models. The workshop is free and open to anyone, however space is limited and registration is required. Participants will be expected to bring their own laptops and download the necessary software and data before the day of the workshop. Morning and afternoon refreshments will be provided.
