How to Sign In to Zoom for CIT 281 Meetings

Recommended by the University of Oregon:

Start the Zoom app.
Click on Sign In
- Note: If you are signing in from a desktop application, when you open the application, you will automatically be prompted to sign in
Select the Sign In with SSO option
- Note: If you don’t see this option, then log out of Zoom first. Click your profile photo/initials in the upper right corner, then click Sign Out. On the next screen that appears, select Sign In with SSO.
You will be asked to “enter your company domain”. Type “uoregon”
- Note: If you are signing in from a web browser, you will not be prompted for this information
You will be redirected to the UO login page. Enter your Duck ID and password.
After you have successfully signed in, you’ll be redirected back to the Zoom application.
Sign in to our Canvas 281 course.
Select Zoom Meetings in the left navigation.
Join the meeting in progress.

If you get this message: “The host has another meeting in progress”

Copy the meeting ID from Canvas, and enter it into the Zoom app.
