Artifact: Values Assessment
The majority of my day was consumed doing homework, then visiting a friend, and getting help with some homework from that friend. The Internet at my house went out for the better part of the day, or at least the time when I was trying to submit it all, so I had to go to a friend’s house for help. My top five values were Family, Security, Friendship, Enjoyment and Independence. Although it is just me now, I saw these as a goal for what I want to be doing after graduation and having a family is important to me hence the top two goals. My education will allow me to have a better career where I can provide for myself and family well so I feel that today’s activities went with those top values well. Another value that I feel would meet the activities of today is Personal Development.
I inherited a good work ethic from my parents and a sense of responsibility too, and past those values I cannot think of any that do not have a value. A goal that I have for myself that I have yet to achieve is to travel the world some more and see more cultures. I feel seeing the various cultures is a good thing to becoming a more rounded person and the only thing in my way of traveling now is school. I do not see this as a bad thing, just how the situation is currently. Finishing up school is a goal as well, and a higher one than the goal of traveling, so I do not feel that school is really in the way of anything.

Reflection:
In this week, we explore the values system. Through finishing my personal values assessment, I have explored my own value system. I have understand what values are most important to me and how these values drive me to act in my daily life. The above image is a scene of family activity. In my value system, family is the most important one. I want to happily live with my family.
I have become familiar with the basic relationship of human values to psychological and philosophical endeavors. I know that our values direct us to live and go forward. Values force us to work hard in order to achieve our goal based on values. Therefore, personal values are very important to everyone.
Future Intention:
In the future, I would like to see if my personal values will change or not as I become aged.
