Hi everyone. So our group is in somewhat of a holding pattern until we can have our first interview with our subject, Steven Acosta.
The main conflict in the story comes from the juxtaposition of the common stereotypes of the lowriding community and the way Acosta perceives it. The community is usually seen in movies as being part of gangs and heavily into crime. But instead Acosta sees the lowriding community as a way to keep kids out of that life. That in reality his club is a community that is actually very family oriented and provides an alternative to life as a thug.
