Tell Your Story

Hi CEO Network and Oregon business students, My name is Brandon Jackson and I am a freshman Sports Business student from Charlotte NC. I attended Lake Norman Charter High School in Huntersville NC along with my twin sister who currently attends the University of Tampa in Florida. I decided to go to the University of Oregon because it is my main goal to work in the sports industry and become a sports agent. The University of Oregon gives me the opportunity to be a part of one of the most prestigious sports business programs in the country and chase my dream.

This is a video blog of mine that describes how my family and community have helped with my growth as a person

Written Response: My family has always been instrumental in my success as a student and my growth as a person. My mom and dad made it clear that school was the first priority and I should dedicate my time to making sure I was the best student I could possibly be. Their expectations soon became my expectations and that motivated me to be successful. My community gave me the courage to venture away from home and attend the University of Oregon. The fact that I knew I had a support base at home that would have my back no matter what I was trying to accomplish. However that did not make the college decision any easier it was the hardest decision I have ever had to make but I have no regrets.
