What are your post-college expectations?
After earning my degree from the Lundquist College of Business I’m going to pursue a career in the sports industry. Sports is my strongest passion and to be able to have an opportunity to work in a industry that I’m passionate about would be a dream. My goal is to be working for a professional sports franchise and work my way into a front office position.Until then I envision myself representing professional athletes working on trying to find the best way to market their image and increase their endorsement possibilities.

What keeps you motivated to achieve these goals?

My family is my biggest support system that I have. The fact that they supported my decision to travel 2000 miles to the University of Oregon to chase my dreams means the world to me. They believe in me and support me in everything that I do. I recognize that I am lucky to say that I attend a school like the University of Oregon because of the prestige the business program has. I always remind myself that I came to Eugene to make the most out of the opportunity that I was given. That motivates me to continue to work hard and chase my dreams.

What is your dream job?

Being a sports agent would be my dream job. I’ve dreamed since middle school of representing star athletes working on negotiating their contracts and getting them endorsement deals. I wouldn’t want to be an agent because of the salary it pays but because my passion for sports and my curiosity about the work that is done behind the scenes.

What extra-curricular experiences will help you get closer to that career?

I plan on taking advantage of every opportunity that is offered to me through the Warsaw Sports Business Club. They notify students of various employment/internship opportunities for those interested in sport. Even volunteering to run a local sporting event or getting an internship with a University of Oregon sports team could be an opportunity for me to gain experience.
