As I am an international student here in the US, I put family at the top because I am away from them and I am here because of them. I talked to them a lot. It was very hard for me when I first got here and had no friends. But then, friends that made me feel like home. I put friendship second because friends play a huge part in my life. They encourage me, teach me and etc. We do nearly everything together so I put them after my family. I really value my friends. As I am here as an international student, I have to be independence to be able to live on my own in a foreign country. I have to depend on myself solely not on my friends or others. My goal here is to go back with a degree and work with my parents and able to help them with what I learn from the university. Most important, I have to enjoy what I do to persuade myself and motivate myself to accomplish everything I do.

I would say that I inherit family and friendship from my family as they teach me to value these values significantly. Family and friends are the most important things in life. I grew up in a large family where we will meet every weekend. I have a lot of cousins whose I have been playing with since I was young. I valued them as my family and friends. They have shaped me into who I am now. When I was a kid, I would say that wealth would be at the top of my list, but as I grow older I realize that money isn’t everything. I see a lot of examples where rich people have a lot of money but isn’t living a happy life. My goal is to be able to repay what my family did for me for my whole life. However, there would be many obstacles for me to get over to be able to reach that goal.
