The Birds and Blooms team is working with Willamalane Park and Recreation District to monitor oak restoration efforts at Dorris Ranch, and to aid them in further management strategies for restoring the historic oak woodland and prairie habitat at Dorris Ranch. 2022 Birds & Bloom ELP Team
The Environmental Leadership Program is a University of Oregon program run out of the Department of Environmental Studies. The ELP partners a team of undergraduates with a community partner to assist them in ecological monitoring and assessments. The ELP’s goals are to provide
- Undergraduate students with unique and practical learning experiences that develop field-based research, writing and presentation skills
- Graduate students with project management and team-building experience and skills
- Organizations with cost-effective and high-quality services
