Five Learning Objectives

  1. Gain a better understanding of marketing plans and the qualitative data that is involved in it. I definitely believe that I was able to accomplish this during the term. Through Darrel and John’s lectures, as well as from hearing other students present on their organizations, I believe that my understanding of different marketing strategies and qualitative data has expanded.
  2. Be able to communicate and work well with group on the group project for the Oregon Contemporary Theatre project, playing off of each other’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as being organized. I believe that my group worked extremely well together. Although there were a couple mishaps with meeting times, we were able to get things done together and work was evenly distributed. I was happy with the final outcome and enjoyed working with my partners.
  3. Create a marketing plan for Eronel that I could present to them. I believe that I am halfway there on this learning objective. I think there is still some statistical data missing, but all of the concepts are there, I just need some missing data resources to back them up more.
  4. I would also like to work more on my rebranding project that we did last term and fine tune it. I wasn’t able to do this as much as I had hoped, but I was able to take ideas that I presented last term and really expand on them and make them into something that was more tangible and realistic.
  5. Be able to identify certain marketing models and tools and be able to explain and implement them. This is similar to my first learning goal and I believe that I was able to accomplish this throughout the term. I am very happy with what I was able to learn from class and presentations.
