- Social Proprioception: the ability of a large group of friends and colleagues to know what each other are doing, and to co-ordinate themselves accordingly.

- Feedback Loop: a situation where part of the output of a situation is used for new input. Often used in spy movies where they tamper with the security tape footage to sneak by unnoticed.
- Compression: in design or photography, it consists of minimizing the size in bytes of a graphics file without degrading the quality of the image to an unacceptable level
- Nuance: a subtle difference in shading, tone, meaning, etc.
