Community Health Centers of Lane County offers assistance enrolling in Oregon Health Plan. Trained Access Specialists meet with students and families to help them understand coverage options and assist with the application process. Oregon Health Plan Enrollment application is available at OregonHealthcare.gov.
UO Student Insurance
The UO Student Insurance is offers national and worldwide coverage to domestic and international UO students. Enrollment instructions, plan benefits, and costs can be found on the Health Center website.
University Health Center

Hours: Open every Sunday, from noon to 4:00pm.
Free healthcare. The clinic is run by volunteer medical professionals. Patients check in with a nurse for initial assessment and then see a doctor. Patients can then select the treatment options they would like to pursue including pharmaceuticals, herbal treatments, nutritional and homeopathic care. Food and hygiene products are available for those in need.
Check in runs from 11:45–3:00 pm. Being seen is not guaranteed if you check in after 3:00 pm.
Volunteer in Medicine Clinic

Volunteer physicians and nurses treat patients for primary care concerns. Diabetes management, pharmacy services, women’s health care, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, support to quit smoking, and lab services are also available. Call to speak to a screening specialist about your eligibility. Eligibility is based on gross household income.
Community Health Centers of Lane County

Providing affordable community health care for infants, children, adults and seniors. Their clinics provide prenatal care, family planning, family practice/internal medicine, a low cost medication program, dental prevention program for children, behavioral and alternative care. Services include birth control, annual exam, cervical and breast cancer screening, STD screening and treatment, HIV testing, abortion, vasectomies and more. St Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul can provide $50 to cover prescription costs in a 12-month calendar year; however, exceptions can be made for emergencies.
White Bird Dental Clinic

Lane Community College Dental Clinic

Teeth cleaning and restorative care. For some services dental hygienist and dental assistant students provide care under the supervision of dentists and hygienists. Accepts patients with Oregon Health Plan.

UO Center for Healthy Relationships

Affordable therapy for the Eugene community provided in the training clinic by graduate interns in the Couples and Family Therapy Master’s program. Individual therapy for all ages and for a wide range of concerns. Relationship therapy and group therapy is also available. University of Oregon Psychology Clinic

Low-cost psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for adults or adolescents older than 14 in the Eugene-Springfield area. Couples counselling available. Services are for community members as well as university faculty, staff and students. Services are provided by graduate students supervised by licensed Psychologists.
Fees are assessed based on income on a sliding scale from $10-50. Fees are due at time of service. UO students and military veterans pay the minimum fee of $10. Please call the phone number above to set up an appointment or learn more about the services available.
Center for Community Counseling

Affordable counseling services on a sliding scale. Fees are charged on a sliding scale depending on income. Fees range from $5-$40. The initial intake interview is $20.00. Support groups are also available for: depression, anxiety, dialectical behavioral therapy skills, mindful parenting, grandparents raising grandchildren, and there is a McKenzie River Center Men’s Group. Northwest Christian University Counseling Center

Provides mental health care for low-income adults including diagnostic services, counseling and medication. Counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists provide services by volunteering their time.

Center for Family Development—Teaching Clinic

Therapy is offered for clients not covered by insurance. Master’s level interns supervised by licensed clinicians provide individual and family counseling on a sliding scale based on monthly income and number of dependents. The Child Center

White Bird’s mobile crisis response unit runs 24/7 in the Eugene-Springfield area. The team consists of a medic and a crisis worker for immediate needs for a psychological crisis. Can provide assessment, information, referrals, advocate, and transportation to the next treatment if needed.

Looking Glass operates a 24-hour, 7 day-a-week crisis line for parents of children up to age 18 to call when their child is having an immediate mental health, emotional, or behavioral crisis.

Veterinary care for pets of people who are homeless. Services are provided on a lottery basis. Clinic hours held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday January through October, and the 2nd Sunday in November in December.
