Reflections:

  • The structure had its shortcomings, but I was alright with it given where we are in our education. The thing that bothers much more is that I’m not sure the cantilever was all that necessary or well-utilized in the first place. Lesson learned about questioning my own assumptions and scrutinizing big moves.
  • I’ve included precedents of CLT stair cores here because I think we could have done a better job visualizing what our CLT cores would look like. As it was, we didn’t have much to show reviewers in way of tectonic expression.
