The most influential lesson from the Urban Ecology class was the well-being and community health. The concepts of public transportation and incorporating outdoor spaces for a lower-income community can promote a healthy lifestyle. Extreme heat statistics helped shape our argument in the research phase of our project, while proximity to sustainable mobility networks helped when considering integrating the territorial and district scale of Marina del Prat Vermell.
