The urban ecology of our project was most inspired by the concept of Living Systems. In particular, we were interested in the concepts of circular economies and the reuse of waste materials, as well as concepts of water cycles  and their effect on the urban climate. Inspired by these concepts, we chose to reuse wastewater to irrigate vegetation to create microclimates in our community spaces.
