A Thousand Years of Non Linear History, by Manuel DeLanda
De Landa’s perspective on bias in history was particularly enlightening. The concept of non-linear history is compromised of multiple approaches and countless limitations. His acknowledgment of the cyclical nature of history and philosophy reveals the flaws in our assessing systems. His analysis of history from a thermodynamics perspective revealed the simplicity of human evolution. I would be curious to know his predictions for society as we move from the Holocene to the Anthropocene.
