Data Dimensions: Accessing Urban Data and Making it Accessible

Diving into this reading, it speaks over the process of collecting,analyzing, and applying the gather information into a design. To gather data foe the creation, or the re-development, of an urban plane will inform the designer what additions will ultimately be beneficial for the new approach off the setting. Using this reading to connect to our current project, it widely reflects the data collection tool that was done for our project. This ass well applied to the notion of both the circle tool and z-line tool used, of which informed and guided us students creations of our individual interventions.

Speranza’s article provides details over the research that came into play when new guiding systems were imported into Barcelonas planning as a means to identify urban factors that needed readjustments for a more successful plan. This connected to my project, as my group and I begin the stages of data collection, in person and through QGIS, we have to poke out all factors that contribute to the overall issue, rather than the issue itself. In other words, to guide us in gathering sufficient data, we must understand each component of the overall issue and its connection to the urban field.
