01 Urban Qualities in Granada

Chart from Idea to Indicators (copy from Assignment 03B)

+Add swatch / textures using photos that best expresses each quality (zoom as much as possible)

02 City Scale Location Map with highlighted layer important to idea.

Boundary/s (use Ignacio’s GH tool, consider experience rather than a walking circle which is not as relevant on a hillside)
Major infrastructure with text label, landmarks (rivers, highways, Alhambra)
locations via boundaries of Neighborhoods with labels
North arrow (pref oriented north up), graphic scales

03 Neighborhood Scale Diagrams: (3 drawings) Albaicin North, Albaicin South and Centro

Boundary/s (use Ignacio’s GH tool, consider experience) – (ex. color analysis to highlight private pools or gardens)
Major infrastructure at this scale such as a key street, landmarks (ex. churches, ancient walls, etc )
locations via boundaries of Placetas with labels

04 – 06 Plaçetas and plazas: 04 Albaicin North Plaçeta ; 05 Albaicin South Plaçetas and 06 Centro Plazas

Each Sheet / set placetas, you should include (ideally you would test onscreen in GH and choose the one with the most interesting emergent pattern of data:
- choose two placetas and one drawing for each of the six qualities (12 total drawings)
- choose two qualities and one drawing for each placeta

(data points left + Ignacio’s GH Isovist /Viewshed right and or eye level color analysis tool)

Visual language for each point of data from on-site data (GIS VIZ Tool or Rhino/Illustrator)developing a visual language for your data values (ex. Circle diameter , line thickness, line length, etc.)
Icons
Scale / legend.
Add data-gathering
Notes as list in italics for each plaza: a) limits / challenges, b) observations and c) speculative findings / assertions.
