Campos reports on the increased prevalence of “terrazzas” or outdoor dining/seating, in response to COVID indoor safety measures. However, as both Directa and La Vanguardia note, the use of public space for private seating applications may disregard the non-transactional element of public commons where seating and other public space infrastructure/utilities are commodities.

I think the focus on women is really interesting!! Housing is a major topic that came up in my analysis of the news too. It would be interesting to examine this in the context of Spanish gender norms, and especially in how those norms have changed over time.
