Alyssa Patterson

Alyssa (she/her) is a 3rd year Educational Foundations (BS) Major at the University of Oregon. She enjoys leading the Oregon Color Guard (OMB), her time on the exect team of band service fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi, and playing Dungeons and Dragons! Her goal after graduation is to attend UOTeach for her teaching license, then teach middle school mathematics or elementary school, and become a color guard coach! She is very excited to expose students and teachers to new resources online, and foster excitement and creativity through combining algorithms, arts and technology!

Emily

Emily (She/her) is a 3rd year Educational foundations Major with a minor in Special Education at the University of Oregon. She enjoys playing the clarinet, going skiing on the weekends, and drawing in her free time. Her goal after graduation is to go into a master’s program for education and obtain her teaching licensure to teach elementary school students. I am excited about doing art with Scratch!

Team Role: Lesson Plan Design and Scratch Coding!

 

Kierstan Collins

Kierstan is a junior at the University of Oregon, majoring in Educational Foundations with a Minor in history. In her free time she spends time training her dogs, and doing photography. After graduation she plans on finding a job as a sixth grade teacher. During this project Kierstan took on the roles of updates/secretarial work, and production of video pitch. For this project she is most excited about seeing everyone’s end project painting.

Robert

Robert (he/him) is a junior in the Educational Foundations Major with a Special Education Minor. Robert is into Star Wars, Pokémon, and Lord of the Rings and he loves watching the Portland Timbers. He and his dog, Abby, love to go hiking and swimming in lakes and rivers. Robert is from Eugene and plans to go elsewhere to get his teaching license and masters degree. Robert is most excited to see all our hard work come together!

Sophia

Sophia (she/her) is a junior in the Educational Foundations Major. Her hobbies include reading and hanging out with friends! Sophia plans to go to Law school after she graduates and become a lawyer in Educational law. She is most excited to get better at using and creating Scratch!
