About Me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Oregon working with Douglas Toomey. For my research, I utilize tomographic imaging to study a variety of mid-ocean ridge processes from magmatic focusing to magmatic-hydrothermal heat flux. Currently, my work is focused on understanding the nature of crustal permeability beneath black smoker hydrothermal vent fields on the Endeavour segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge using 3D full-waveform inversion.
